Where are you based?

31 July, 2025

Balustradedesign is a European railing manufacturer based in Ängelholm, Sweden. We design and produce custom-made balustrade systems for both residential and commercial use. All our bespoke glass and aluminium railings are crafted in-house and shipped directly from our production facility.

Can I customise the look and dimensions of my balustrade?

31 July, 2025

Yes – our 3D design tool lets you tailor your balustrade to your exact specifications. Choose dimensions, colour, glass type, fixings and much more. You’ll see the price instantly based on your configuration.

Are your balustrades compliant with UK regulations?

31 July, 2025

Absolutely. All our systems are CE-marked according to EN 1090-1 and developed with strict focus on safety, durability and UK building standards. We conduct both internal impact testing and external certification.

What materials are your balustrades made from?

31 July, 2025

We manufacture our systems using laminated safety glass, stainless steel (AISI 304 or 316), and powder-coated aluminium. All materials are certified and suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments.

Can I install the balustrade myself?

31 July, 2025

Yes – our balustrade kits are designed for easy DIY assembly. Each order includes all necessary fixings, mounting tools and detailed instructions. You’ll also receive custom video guides tailored to your chosen system.

Do I need planning permission to install a balustrade?

31 July, 2025

For most residential properties, planning permission is not required as long as the balustrade complies with UK building regulations. If in doubt, we recommend contacting your local planning authority.
